DIY Complete

I love these DIY shorts!
They were so simple to make. Give these a go. The tutorial is on this link
Love that some thing as simple as a pair of knitting needles and a few balls of wool can make a very wearable item.

  1. thanks for posting this! especially the pictures of how you made them and how it looks lying flat. Perhaps I'll give these another go using straight needles rather than circular. great job

  5. Hey!

How many stitches did you cast on?
I've got thick yarn and calculated that I need over 130 stiches for circa 65cm.
    Can this be right?

  6. Hi Vanny

I'm an Aus size 6 and cast on 125 stiches although my wool wasn't really thick.
If you make sure you castoff loosely then the shorts should stretch

  7. How did you make the holes for your legs? Did you just knit rectangular and sew them in?
