Love that some thing as simple as a pair of knitting needles and a few balls of wool can make a very wearable item.

DIY

As you all know I'm on a wardrobe detox.
This doesn't mean I can't be inspired by others and make my own clothes from items I have at home already.

These knitted shorts are going to be one of my favorites this winter.

Yeojin Bae

Loving this collection from Australian designer Yeojin Bae. The mostly delicate detailing and the colours all combined to make this collection so lust worthy. My favorite piece is definitely the peach colour mini dress with all over pleating. Now I'm off to buy a lotto ticket for tonight's 21 million draw...

Tupperware

My friend called me a few days ago and asked me to come along to a Tupperware tea party. With a bit of reluctance I agreed to come along but only to support her. I guess I was just making up the numbers but I actually had fun. If anyone out there hasn't been to one I would suggest you go along to one just to see what all the fuss is about. I even walked away with a freebie. No idea what it is so any information would be appreciated.

Window Shopping

First of all, Happy Mothers Day to all the lovely mums out there!
I picked up my my this morning and we had a lovely day filled with yum cha, hot chocolate, cake and of course window shopping.
First stop was Chinatown (where else?) for yum cha where we relaxed with too many dumplings and lots of piping hot chinese tea. 
We took our time making our way up to Pitt St Mall. Drooling over all the Designer goods at Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Chanel (Always nice to dream)
Then to the best place for hot chocolate in Sydney. Where else but the Lindt Cafe at Martin Place. I can definatley recommend the Chocolate and Caramel Piore. There is nothing better than their Dark Hot Chocolate. My mum and I left the cafe feeling very satisfied.
I don't think I could think of a nicer way to spend Mothers Day. I hope you all spoilt your own mums.

Just wanted to also wish my godson Dante Happy 11th Birthday. Hope you guys killed it on the soccer field today !!

Bets

So I told some of the people I work with about my shopping detox.. How do they show their support? By taking bets on when they think I will break this detox! Talk about support. I figured they more people that know about the detox the better. Hopefully it will keep me on the straight and narrow. I really do love the guys I work with. We are a close knit team who have worked together for many years.
I thought I would share just some of the items I found while "shopping" in my wardrobe. It just amazes me that I have so much in my wardrobe but still seem to have "nothing to wear" How does that happen?

1st day

I'm very lucky that I only work a 9 day fortnight. Today is my day off so this outfit is very comfortable for running around in. 
I'm feeling very relaxed today due to a combined facial and massage treatment. Loving how soft my skin is feeling right now!
